Reflecting on a Wonderful Event for a Worthy Cause
On July 25th, 2024, we had an incredible evening at Sage & Sand Cocktail Lounge, where our community came together to support a fantastic cause. From 5:30 to 7:30 PM, the bar buzzed with excitement and generosity as we rallied for Right Turn for Yuma Veterans.
Raffle Extravaganza:
The raffle was a hit! Attendees purchased wingspans of raffle tickets for just $20, giving them a chance to win some truly awesome prizes. The thrill of the raffle added an extra layer of fun to the night, and we’re grateful to everyone who participated.
Donation Drive Success:
Our “Donation Stations” throughout the bar were a hub of activity. Thanks to the generous contributions from attendees, we were able to raise significant funds for Right Turn for Veterans. Your donations will go a long way in supporting their important work.
Sage and Sand’s Generous Contribution:
Sage & Sand Cocktail Lounge showed their support by donating 10% of their sales from the evening to Right Turn for Yuma Veterans. This gesture was greatly appreciated and highlighted the community spirit of local businesses.
A Night of Fun and Community Spirit:
The event wasn’t just about raising funds; it was also about coming together as a community. Guests enjoyed drinks, played cornhole, pool, and darts, and engaged in lively conversations. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and camaraderie.
About Right Turn for Yuma Veterans:
For those who might not know, Right Turn for Yuma Veterans was established in 2014 with the mission of reducing homelessness among veterans in Yuma County. They provide essential services such as transitional housing, financial assistance, medical benefits, and support for re-engagement with community and family. Their dedication to improving the lives of veterans is truly commendable.
